Self Administered Grace

This is so important in our lives, and some are better at this than others.

It is puzzling how this can be witnessed in the lives of some, self employed Grace. It might be viewed as a peculiar trait a specific person you have witnessed in life displays. I knew a kid, as a young man, named Mario. He was a charmer. He was a sight of graciousness indeed. I don’t know the formula for how he came about, but yes, he reminds one of that piece of writing  which became popular, I think it was in the eighties;

Remember, “If you bring up a child with….he will grow up to be….”

That is all I propose as to Mario’s disposition. Smooth, he was, very popular in school. I was fortunate to bring him on to work with me at the Loews Tower East in Manhattan, as a Usher (movie house). I was asked to bring kids in, for we were about to show a Blockbuster and big crowds were anticipated. My school was a little bit prestigious as public perception went, and so, having dealt with me (impressed), my bosses figured, my school would be a good source for hiring material.

What this did for me was create, front and center, a little circle of clowns, composed of Mario as the magnate, and the rest of us who worked with him at the movie theater.

Two things should be clarified;

My school was a free, public school (Art and Design High School). However, one seeking admittance, had to pass a qualifying test.

Also, when I speak of Mario’s self administered grace, this is not a reference to the Biblical Grace of God. This refers to a good and healthy state of mind. It is positive, and willful. And, yes, it does involve some positive thinking, not to be confused with “faith”. It can however be described as a blind faith, which means that circumstances may contrive to topple it.

This is a thing learned, indoctrination, when all the ingredients in the life of a individual fall perfectly into place. Yes, true, we cannot rule out the Will of God, but it is, paradoxically not to be confused with His Spirit, the Power of God. Many will disagree, especially the Mystic minded. You, the God enlightened, with Biblical knowledge, however, understand the distinction I point out (please feel free to comment, I will be gracious).

You see, point is, as to the above paragraph, that there have been those individuals which have been Graced with the Will of God providing masterful and wonderful circumstances which have produced lovely and remarkable individuals, seemingly perfect from public assessment, but the allowing, by God of negative circumstances can intercede in such lives. This produces a breaking, again, not to be identified with the Will of God which allowed the forging of such beautiful personas, now the opposite is introduced into such lives, circumstances which rock this “solid” personality.

Recovery then, can occur, but only with the Resurrecting Power of God, thus the Power of God is witnessed as a trade off for the circumstantial will of God. Get my drift?

If you like, this can be seen in Job’s life. The difference is distinctly shown here (Job).

But now we come to us self administering the Grace of God in our lives. The Children of God, are to be gracious to self. It is the Beauty of Possessing His Forgiveness, His love, His Resurrecting Power, which demands that we accept our flaws as He does provide in the package of Salvation for us, the office of High Priest (Jesus, mediator between God and Man), for the purpose of, on a daily basis confessing our sins.

Yes, even that sin of manifesting the “Adamic Assessorship”.

Yes, ramrodding self. Being cruelly harsh on yourself. Let the Spirit of adoption shine within you at those moments. Forgive yourself, accept your frailty and the whole of God’s plan and healing Power.

Manifest Christ’s healing power upon self, through love and Grace.

Thank you for spending time here. May God richly bless you, sincerely; MAO

  1. Until we are Born Again Mike and Perfected in Love, we are covered by the Blood of Christ, as were the Old Testament Saints, God knows those who are His and His grace is sufficient, Jesus is our Advocate but being washed in the Blood of the Lamb means we have been set free from the Slavery of Sin, as the Scriptures below confirm , we are to reckon ourselves dead to sin not keep saying we will continue to sin but if we do continue to sin than we are still in darkness(1John1) and if we say we have never sinned and so don’t need Salvation, we are calling God a liar, when we confess our sins God purifies us from all unrighteousness and as Jesus is, so are we in this world.

    John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

    1 John 3: 1-11 ( 9 ) No one who is Born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been Born of God.

    1 John 3: 1-11 ( 6-7 ) Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

    Luke 6:45-46 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

    Romans 6:22-23 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

    1 Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

    Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

    Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

    1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.
