THE BURDEN; THE ASSIGNMENT; THE PURPOSE

The very first word; Burden, when considered abruptly can be made out to be just negative. Isn’t that right? You see, there’s burden and there’s ‘THE’ burden. A burden is something that is carried, something that is perceived so greatly all around you (mentally and physically) that you cannot just give it a rest.

Enough with the chit chat. Let’s get down to business.

There’s that particular passage of the Bible that is used mostly when evangelising or when trying to comfort people. But the thing is this, the passage means much more than that.

Matthew 11:28-29

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
