Ambling And Rambling Poem

Don’t know what brought this on………Take it or leave it, that’s your red wagon
So just keep on dragging your red wagon along (From the Movie “They live by night”)

Some people set the pace.
The unintended race.
Others follow in the haze.
Led in the mad craze.
And so one drops the maze
A yawning trail blaze
As others gaze
Wishing to erase
But instead seek to emulate
A unrequited date
Wanting to relate
Remains blank the slate
God lives
Man sieves
Re-imagining the Truths
With trampling hooves
Cutting loose
Like the moose
Wear the noose
From life vamoose
Screw loose
like the goose
But not for those who lead
They don’t plead
They are the Spirit Breed
The wind don’t break this reed
No purpose to mislead
Discerningly we read
A person on a mission
Relaying God’s commission
Clearly His incision
One of decision
Dismissing the omission
Of clear and dear vision
Give thanks
Break ranks
Abandon misconception
Let go of dark deception
The Spirit is direction
No longer your rejection
Embracing with affection
Trust and not inspection
No doubt inhabit your action
Heed not the putrefaction
Rather listen
And glisten
It can be yours
No silly tours
But instead possession
Blocking all regression
God’s Grace abounding
His Love resounding
The feet free not grounding
Not confused and bounding
Free and amounting
The bleak horse dismounting
Loving and submitted
Into His plan admitted

  1. You offer hope amid the stampede of chaos and deception. Dark humor residing side by side with a promise of salvation.

    Fascinating and enjoyable read…
