The Caption on this post when in Facebook: “I only held her when she was a baby “, the nonce. Yes, as if someone were bragging about something then said: “How about you (Miguel)?” “Just the once” returned my answer, as if I were incomplete, had only experienced it but the one occasion.
In the past, I posted an article about this: Gianna. The latest addition to my family on behalf of my daughter, Fantasia.
Here you see her by a pool. She is a riot, this little creature. In the past article, I asked for prayer, for she was dying. A newborn.
In those days…
I would walk about my house to do something, retrieve an item, go about my routine, and then I would collapse, wind up on the floor in supplication. I never imagined that I would supplicate God like in the Old Testament descriptions of the servants of the Lord. But there I was, in tears. “Oh God, I know you will spare her.” “Not this one Lord, please, she hasn’t had a chance, Lord…”
Intercession is a lovely and profound thing, to stand in the breach, like my Lord did for me. The Cross of Calvary.
Through the auspices of my Dynamo Granddaughter, Gianna’s older Sister Nique, I was able to journey to Missouri after her recovery and hold her as an infant. I posted a video of that occasion here in WordPress, cannot remember the title.
But here she is in Missouri and me here in Az in misery (lol). I only held her but once. What a sap, considering what God has given me.
